Lakewoods Offers You an Extraordinary Chance to Explore Lake Namakagon – and Catch Your Dinner
Wonder at an eagle soaring overhead and feel the breeze as you glide over the water. Rentals at our Lakewoods Marina give you a chance to go sailing, water skiing, canoeing,
or fishing or take a pontoon boat and explore Wisconsin's 10th largest natural lake at your leisure.
The 3,369-acre Lake Namakagon is one of three lakes in the state that is managed as a trophy musky lake and regularly produces 40-plus inchers. Namakagon also offers abundant walleye for the fry pan as well as bass, northern pike, crappies and panfish.
To service the angler, the Lakewoods Marina offers numerous boat rentals from granddad's 14-foot Alumacraft to the latest fishing rigs with electric trolling motors, live wells, and electronic fish finders. We also rent canoes and kayaks.
The marina also stocks live bait and tackle along with gas and oil to keep your rig up and running. After a successful day on the water, we also have a fish house with running water to clean your catch.
Here is a rundown on when the various key dates occur in fishing season:
- Fishing season generally opens the first Saturday in May
