Our Fun in the Forest ATV Benefit raises food and gifts for children and families during the holiday season. We invite you to donate unwrapped gifts or food items at any time. However, if you bring a donation of $20 and an item to Lakewoods Resort on Thursday or Friday leading up to our weekend event, you’ll gain entry to the local Wisconsin ATV trails, the event activities, and the prize party at Lakewoods. This event is all about celebrating holiday giving and sharing our good fortune with everyone around us. Because it’s scheduled for the middle of October, it’s the perfect time to view fall foliage along our Wisconsin ATV trails. If you need ATV rentals for this event, Runamuk Rides and Hayward Power Sports are convenient and close.
Annual Namakagon Cancer Walk and Fundraiser
The annual cancer walk is another wonderful opportunity to enjoy the crisp October air and engage in holiday giving. As one of the best resorts near Hayward, WI, we’re lucky to be right on the banks of Lake Namakagon, so this charity event starts and ends on our property. You’ll walk all the way around the lake for this cancer fundraiser, and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the cause. You can make a personal donation or ask for pledges from your family and friends. We also offer several different packages to make the cancer walk event accessible to everyone who wants to help. Every little bit adds up to make a big difference, so whether you register as a tadpole or a musky, your participation is valued and appreciated.
