Fun in the Forest Benefit Ride

Ride the renowned ATV forest trails in the Northwoods! Held annually on the third weekend of October, your registration fee plus a gift of an unwrapped present or food item will put you on the trail, visiting your choice of area restaurants and pit stops, PLUS Saturday evening’s dinner and entry into the party with all the fun activities, great Prizes and LIVE Music at Lakewoods.

Your donations benefit children and families over the holiday season. Funds are distributed through Toys 4 Tots, Operation Rudolph, many Area Lions Clubs, Toy Drives, and Food Shelves. 100% of the donations and raffle proceeds go directly to the charities. We are always looking for raffle donations for this wonderful event, so spread the word to anyone you know who may be willing to donate.

You may register and drop off your gift and/or food at Lakewoods Resort anytime starting Thursday night through Saturday morning (during specific times). Enjoy self-guided tours of the ATV trails in Ashland, Bayfield, and Sawyer Counties and a visit to your choice of businesses and the many Shirt Run Stops. A 9:30 am Event Kick-Off will be held in front of Lakewoods Saturday Morning, then hit the trails by 10 am.

After the trails, the fun continues Saturday night in Lakewoods’ Buck’s Bar. Your registration includes delicious eats from 4-9pm. Then prepare to dance the night away with live music. It always turns into a weekend to remember!

Your participation includes special lodging rates at the event headquarters, Lakewoods Resort. Make your reservations early! The event is held on the 3rd Weekend of October. Please mention this event when making reservations.

ATV Club Members and Groups: Bring all your members, as the group with the largest representation will receive a special donation to a Holiday Charity of their choice in their local community. We’re spreading holiday cheer to everyone who participates!

REGISTRATION
-Thursday, October 15th: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
-Friday, October 16th: 8:00am – Noon and 2:00pm – 9:00pm
-Saturday, October 17th: 8:00am – 9:30am
Registration Requirements: $25 Donation AND 1+ unwrapped gift and/or food donation (valued at $10+) per person.
100% of the gifts and event proceeds are donated to the holiday-related charitable groups.

FRIDAY
Riders can try different routes to get an early start on their Shirt Run Stamps!

SATURDAY
-Breakfast Served: 7:00am – 11:00am (20% off for registered participants)
-Event Kickoff Ceremony: 9:30am in Front of Main Lodge
-Ride Departure: 10:00am from Main Lodge
-Homestyle Dinner: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Included with Registration)
-Shirt Run: Turn in your cards with 10+ stamps and receive your commemorative shirt!

Over the weekend, we’ll have our Fun In The Forest Shirt Ride as well as holding several cash drawings and raffles with donated prizes. Please send all prize donations to Lakewoods Resort Attn: Carrie Rasmussen.
