What Is So Special About Drummond Bar Stool Races?

This event helps raise funds for the non-profit 501c3 Drummond Sno-Jacks (Drummond Snow Jacks). For the last 50 years, the Drummond Sno-Jacks has been the town’s official snowmobile club, and they raise money to maintain over 50 miles of trails in the Drummond, WI, area. They are an essential connector to the nearby towns of Cable, Namakagon, Barnes, Grand View, Mason, and beyond. Recently, in 2022 they also expanded into including ATV/UTV in their club.

Each year on the Saturday of President’s Weekend, the Drummond Sno-Jacks host Drummond Bar Stool Races. As seen on ESPN, hundreds of snowmobilers and spectators gather to see the race. Competitors get creative with their homemade barstool sleds as they race for cash prizes, trophies, and bragging rights. It will be a day-long party filled with raffles, tents, live music, a DJ, Brats, burgers, chili, and your favorite beverages! There will be plenty of parking for cars and snowmobiles as they close down the Mainstreet in Drummond, WI.
