The Christmas In Cable Holly Daze Cheer Party and Wine Tasting at starting at 6 PM at Lakewoods Resort. NEW this year! We're featuring a whole new format based upon an informal cocktail party. Our 10 different bottles of wine will be suited to a Tapas Menu featuring more than 20 different items. You'll be treated to the finest food and fantastic wines while you enjoy the company of the other guests and discover tons of ideas for your next party.
P.C. Rasmussen with the Lakewoods Team of Chefs will demonstrate some useful cooking techniques throughout the evening. Plus area experts from local businesses will help you with decorating and gift giving ideas for a memorable holiday season. It’s certainly a party you don’t want to miss. All of this for the extraordinary price of $45.
This is our third year of holding the Christmas in Cable Wine Tasting over this celebratory weekend. Cheer Party Menu
The Theme this year is Tapas! Tapas are hot!... You see whole restaurants serving nothing but Tapas and they are quickly becoming part of the foodies vernacular. Traditionally a Spanish phenomenon, like many things they've become Americanized and are becoming a part of the dining scene here in the US.
We'll be showing how Tapas can become a part of your Holiday Season menu. Featuring more than 20 different items, so you'll have a virtual feast of food to choose from for your dining pleasure.
Demonstrations
Throughout the evening you'll be able to watch as chef's prepare the different dishes for your enjoyment. We'll also be offering short informal presentations about the different dishes prepared as well as a more in depth cooking demonstration for your enjoyment.
Trained Wine specialist from our purveyors will be on hand to answer your questions of the 10 different bottles we'll be tasting. In addition, an informative session of how to decipher the many different varietals and styles now being offered in the stores will be done.
These sessions are really what make this tasting stand out from every other you may have attended.
